Scott A. Bursor has focused his practice in complex civil litigation and class actions. Since 2008, Scott has tried four class action cases to juries, and has won a 9-figure award and three 8-figure awards for the class plaintiffs in those cases. See our victories page.
Scott graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1996. He was on the Editorial Board of the Law Review, and was a member of the Board of Advocates and Order of the Coif. Prior to founding his own firm, Scott was a litigation associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore (1996-2000) and Chadbourne & Parke LLP (2001), where he represented large telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and technology companies in commercial litigation.
Scott is a member of the state bars of New York, Florida, and California, the bars of the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Fourth, Sixth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits, and the bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida, Northern District of California, Central District of California, Southern District of California, and Eastern District of California.
